Take a look at this image. If any song for any movie has to be recorded there used to be the huge fleet of musicians. There was no technology. If it is recording the live musicians was the the need. the music director used to very prolonged rehearsals with singers. The song writers used to do hell of lot of brain storming, imaginations of the situations & son on. Only then the great melodies used to take birth Lot of struggle....!  One omre very critical thing is the song must be completed at one go, If there is any lacunas, everything starts from beginning, No retakes. We can imagine the kind of struggle the entire fraternity went through.

Yet our legendary lyrics writers, singers & music compositors did great job & the music of seven decades is still alive & getting younger. If we watch any Bollywood Music Concert even now, all the songs of those golden decades are played. The Industry is booming & revenues are great. In the current era the musicians those who do fabulous job when the singer is performing are also being well paid & have continuous work &these concerts are popular not only in India, but various parts of world. The artist travel abroad pretty often & make great money.

The count of  various types of music teachers, students, Instrumental Music Teachers/Academies is increasing day by day. Students who have passion for music do great efforts to manage the time for their passion from their "study-time" . Therefore it`s a great era for music industry,thanks to the technology, media & communication mediums which brought world so close.

Now-a-days the music for the movies is being created by the help of technology. No big fleets of musicians, but again the life of such music is very short. The concept of live musicians is still popolur in music coonersts for instance

1) Laxmikant Pyarelal Night: The songs in concert will be played wherein the music was given by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The Anchor will narrets some memories of Laxmikant Pyarelal & some memories &nincedent taken place in the past during their struggle period to their successful times.
2) Kishore  Da Ke Yaad Mein
3) Phir Rafi.
4) Panchm Da

And so on. Some times they will develop the concept based on actors like Dev Ananad, Rajendra Kumar( Highest Jubilee Star)........!
